140,000 marketing campaign to promote Dublin jobs fair

A €140,000 advertising and marketing campaign to promote employment and recruitment fair Jobs Expo 2012 has kicked off today.

The campaign, which will include TV, print, radio, outdoor, and online advertising, will run until the weekend of the event on 12 and 13 May.

The fair, which is free to attend and takes place in Dublin’s RDS, has also secured media partnerships with TV3, Newstalk and www.postgrad.ie.

According to the organisers the event will provide job seekers with real opportunities to find a new job.

Advice and career opportunities will be available from companies located both in Ireland and abroad such as: engineering company GxP Systems which currently has 21 job openings, for engineering positions in Ireland, the US, and Mexico; Cork-based software company, IFDS Percana; and Australian company, Tom Browne Drilling.

The exhibition will be divided into a number of different areas: Irish Job Opportunities; Working Abroad; Starting your own Business; and Career Clinic. It will also include an Engineering Village, Health Village and Professional Village.
