Audi Ireland has announced a new strategic partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs for Ireland’s EU presidency.
The Audi A6 has been agreed as the official car for the duration of the six-month presidency, which started on 1 January 2013.
All vehicles supplied by Audi Ireland will be used for hotel-to-airport travel at the 11 ministerial level meetings, which will take place in Ireland throughout the Irish presidency. This partnership follows similar European agreements, as Audi AG has been the sole official supplier of transport for seven of the last 11 EU presidencies throughout Europe.
“This term will be hugely important for the country and we are confident our world-class A6 saloons will deliver the necessary support during this term,” said Andrew Doyle, managing director of Audi Ireland.
