Getting Serious About Data Security in 2010
What does the term DLP mean to you? In addition to Data Leak Prevention, DLP also stands for Digital Light Processing; Disneyland Paris; Democratic Labor Party; Distance Learning Program, etc.
No wonder we are all confused. And even when we decide we are talking about Data Leakage Prevention, many of us are still confused. Is DLP any or all of these...hard disk encryption, removable media encryption, scanning of email leaving the organisation, management of data including email on mobile devices, classification of data, data retention policies?
Calyx has gathered national and international experts on the subject and is pleased to invite you to attend a round-table discussion forum to examine the complex area of DLP. Topics will include: Privacy and customer data; data classification; managing, securing, auditing and controlling privileged accounts; data encryption; full disk encryption and removable media devices.
