Emirates to hold three recruitment days in Ireland as it seeks to fill 5,000 cabin crew positions

The airline, which commenced its second daily flight from Dublin to Dubai this month, said the continuous growth of the company means its cabin crew requirements continue to evolve.

The recruitment events are as follows: Hilton Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 on 25 October by invitation only; an open day the Limerick Strand Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick City on 30 October; and an open day on 24 November in Galway, at a venue still to be confirmed.

Each open day will start at 9am. The airline is encouraging men and women who are interested in the job to attend. Emirates said successful applicants will travel the world to destinations like Australia, India and Thailand while living in Dubai.

At the open day, experienced members of the Emirates recruitment team will take applicants through details of what the job involves, and will be on hand to answer any questions. Those who are interested apply there and then, and if shortlisted, will be invited back for interview in the following days.

The airline said Ireland has been a popular choice for recruitment drives, with a number of open days having taken place earlier this year. Emirates currently employs more than 314 cabin crew from Ireland and more than 488 people from Ireland throughout the company as a whole.

Emirates said it is looking for dedicated employees, who are open-minded, helpful, friendly and service-oriented. Applicants have to be at least 21 years old at the time of possible recruitment and are requested to bring an up-to-date CV in English, and a photograph.
